It has been wonderful to welcome back the warm weather and great to see the boys observing the seasonal changes. We have had some lovely sunny days and so it is now time to remind parents to send their child's hat to school as term 4 is a compulsory hat wearing term. Term 4 is always a great term to move back to water in children's drink bottles as this often quenches children's thirst for more satisfactorily than milk, juice or cordials.
We have already had our first cases of hay fever. If your child is particularly prone to bouts of hay fever please feel free to visit your family Doctor for a health plan. After receiving a health plan you can send this with a named bottle of hay fever medication so that relief can be administered at Kindergarten. Please note that staff can not administer hay fever medication to children with symptoms without a health plan even if the medication is one that is familiar to you. Spring is also a good time to check that any asthma medication is still in date.
