Staffing Changes

Dear Parents,

At the end of the term we unexpectedly said goodbye to Mrs Janet Ricks. Janet was dedicated to the children in the Pirie Room, obvious in the insight and reflection that she offered into children’s investigations and learning at the end of every day. Janet was a very dedicated early childhood professional who put a great deal of time and effort into her work at PAC and she will be missed. We wish her all the very best in whatever she chooses to pursue in the future and feel sure that she will continue to make a difference in the field of early childhood. We have not yet appointed another assistant in Janet's place but are very lucky to have the bubbly, enthusiastic Miss Trish stepping in in the interim. We hope to have this position finalised in the next few weeks.

In the Flinders Room Mrs Annabel Ecroyd will be taking extended leave to travel with her son, Will, and husband, Heath, to England to support Heath whilst he is working there. This Wednesday will be Annabel’s last for the term and we look forward to seeing her at the start of term three. Again we are lucky to have Mrs Sarah Taylor and Ms Catherine Treloar, both firm favourites with the boys, filling in in Annabel’s absence.
