Please Note: We have had two incidents of Fifth Disease in children who attend the Preparatory School. None of our students have experienced any symptoms and we are not concerned that any of our students are at risk. However we would like to inform any expectant mothers particularly those who are in the first 20 weeks as Fifth Disease can cause complications with unborn babies under this age. Fifth Disease, also known as slap cheek, is easily identifiable by the five red lines across the sufferers cheek (it looks like you've been slapped, hence the name). If you have any concerns and would like to organise another person to drop off and collect your child in the interim please ring the college and speak to a staff member.
Thankyou
Mel Bishop
