Welcome to Term Three

Dear Little Princes Families,
Welcome back to Kindergarten. We trust that you all enjoyed a fun safe break and are ready and roaring to join us back in the Flinders and Pirie Rooms for a term of exploration, wonder and fun.
The end of last term was a time for many farewells but the start of this term has been a time for new beginnings. I am excited to announce the appointment of two new Kindergarten staff members.
We welcome Mrs Bec Golding as a teacher in the Flinders Room. In the short time she has been with us Bec has displayed an unbounded enthusiasm and has very quickly slotted into the routines and expectations of the Flinders Room. I feel sure that Bec's transition into the Flinders Room has been assisted by the wonderful duo of Amanda Rees and Bel Ecroyd. I look forward to hearing and seeing the wonderful things I'm sure the Flinders Room boys will achieve this semester.
In the Pirie Room we are pleased to introduce Mrs Nicola Porteous-Grace. Nicola comes to us with many and varied teaching experiences and has already shown herself to be extremely thoughtful and gentle with children of this age as well as being extremely approachable to adults. Nicola joins a fantastic team in the Pirie Room, and on a personal note, from one who has jumped from the Flinders Room to the Pirie Room during the holidays, i have also enjoyed the wonderful support of Bron Webster, Pip Cooper and Trish Silvestrino as Nicola and I have found our feet in this first week.
I have a great feeling about the term ahead and look forward to sharing it with your children. I also look forward to opportunity for the odd chat here and there and sincerely hope you will all be able to join us for a evening of wine and cheese (and a little bit of information!) on Thursday night of week 4 this term.
